When coming up with my personal brand, Mars & Co., I wanted it to originally be my last name abbreviated: Mar & Co. However, it didn’t flow well on the screen or even when you said it. Deciding to run with the space theme was ultimately a non-brainer, as space has always interested me. Now, with my official brand identity, you’ll find a portfolio showcasing my diverse design expertise, including branding, web design, print materials, and custom illustrations. My identity offers thoughtful, professional, and visually impactful solutions.

Challenges
Coming up with a correct color pallet was one of my biggest struggles while making this logo. At first, I wanted to try and stick with the orange-red tone of the actual planet Mars. I was happy with the colors I came up with, until my Professor told me it looked like a cheeseburger. So, for my plan B I decided to go with a pink and purple theme after deciding to ditch the realism. From the beginning, I had already decided on the style of the logo I was looking for. After combining that with my final color pallet, the logo was complete.
